The admissions review for students seeking a second bachelor’s degree is done entirely by the major department to which you apply. Aside from your transcript(s) from your first bachelor’s degree, the department will let you know of any additional materials needed to review your application after your application has been submitted. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher in their previous bachelor's degree, in addition to completed coursework specific to the engineering major, to be considered for admission.

For majors that require math and science courses, it is recommended that applicants have completed math and science courses equivalent to those in the freshman curriculum at UMass Amherst (see department website).

Please note, in addition to submitting this application, an audition is required for dance and music applicants.
